Yeah, the tire store that I usually use, they have you drive up on the lift, then get out and walk through the other bays in to the store.

Some states they’re not allowed any more. Gas fumes are heavier then air and will collect in them.

I can’t remember the last time I was allowed into the work area of any garage. It has to have been at least 10 years.

I saw the employee directing the driver forward and then waving him off after the front tire was completely over the pit, yet still on the floor by an inch or two of tire.

I resemble that remark.

I disagree. It was a team effort. The guy directing traffic could have noticed that the car was way of center and stopped the driver much sooner. The lube shop insurance will pay for it, but the shop owner will pay a lot more in the future for premiums.

this is a good example for the quick lube. put the safty gates back on and do a drug test before you hire people
