Everyone here was very helpful and it seems like I need to replace the starter on my 1999 toyota camry 4 cylinder. I was just wondering if anyone has any clue how much this should cost so I don’t get ripped off by a mechanic.
The best bet is to get 3 estimates as local repairs and parts vary in price.
It’ll probably be around $300 +/- $50. But like waterboy suggests, get a couple estimates.
Are you sure it needs a new starter?
