Where is the power steering sensor on a 2002 PT Cruiser. The service light is on and it’s giving a code which indicates a failure of the sensor.
I believe you are talking about the power steering pressure switch. This sensor tells the PCM to increase engine idle speed if the power steering fluid pressure increases above a threshold value, which may occur when the steering wheel is at full range. If this is the sensor you mean, crawl underneath and look at the very bottom of the power steering unit.
