I have a 2006 Town Car and the wipers will turn on by themselves and won’t turn off until I shut the engine down. It’s happening more and more. The wiper motor is only 2 months old (this issue occurred two weeks AFTER the new motor), any ideas? Could it be the turn signal/wiper stalk? A relay somewhere?
Sounds like your new wiper motor is defective; bad parking switch.

The wiper motor doesn’t have a parking switch as it’s electronically controlled.
If the wiper motor is new, then more than likely the problem is with the multi-function switch.
