Pontiac Fiero

Now that Pontiac will be gone do you think the Pontiac Fieo will become a rare collector car now or a dog that can’t be repaired?

Yes

Sorry, couldn’t resist. Its value won’t go up because of the failure of Pontiac (it’s not like a painting/dead painter kid of thing), and parts will still be available, so I doubt much will change. It’s not like the parts to repair Fieros are coming off Pontiac production lines today. It used lots of parts common with other GM cars of that era.

The only one that has even the slightest chance of becoming desirable is the only Fiero that was ever desirable in the fist place: The 1988 Fiero GT. The pervious Fieros had suspension bits from the Chevy Citation and Chevette, as well as the Iron Duke 2.5L which tended to catch fire. Not exactly stuff you’d want to have in a sports car.

Coincidentally I was talking about one I did not buy for a fun car because my golf clubs did not fit in the trunk. He told me you have to pull the engine to change the spark plugs, is that true?
