Those were cool? That’s new to me.
They were ‘curb feelers’, and were cool only if you were a wanna-be pimp with an Eldorodo. You can still buy them.
That’s a lot of work to go through just to avoid learning how to parallel park.
they were made in the '50s older people who didnt want to mess up their whitewalls.
but you need several feet between your car, and the curb. then you have bigger problems, like parking in the middle of the street.
I thought the same thing at first, but after watching closely, I realized that even perfect parallel parking technique would not have let him park in those spaces. The spaces were too small to park in without this device or one like it.
