Just had the “Check Engine” light on a 2003 Honda CR-V diagnosed:
P1009
Definition: VCT advance malfunction
Probable causes:
1 - Low oil pressure
2 - Blocked oil passage
3 - Failed VCT oil control valve
The car seems to run fine otherwise, except that yesterday the VSA (Vehicle Stability Assistance) engaged for no apparent reason and the “Check Engine” light came on.
Any advice?
