I was parked at a shopping mall when they were painting the stairs. I did not realize until some time later that some of the paint oversparyed onto my car. How do I remove the overspray without damaging the clearcoat?
I have seen this happen on a major scale to over 300 cars parked in a lot where I used to work. The painter is liable for your damage. He SHOULD have insurance to cover it. In my case, the paint company, which worked all over the country, had another company come in to fix all the damaged cars. The workers used RAZOR BLADES to skim the overspray off of all the effected cars. Then they buffed them all out. Most looked far better after this fix than they did before they were oversprayed.
Good luck.
