Have a 2000 Ford ranger - if I turn the overdrive on or off while it’s in gear it blows the fuse, works fine if it’s not in gear though. Any ideas?
The o/d button is in the tip of the shift lever, right ?
Somewhat common for those little wires to chaffe or break as they run through the shift lever and into the column.
