Mine is accessed under the hood, has the little plastic pins, at least one will fall out of reach behind the battery…

They missed the part about taking everything out of the glove box but pretty accurate.

Yes, they did forget that detail.
When I replaced my cabin air filter recently, in the process of unloading the glove box, I found an old Dunkin Donuts gift card that apparently still had some value left on it. By NJ law, gifts cards can’t “expire”, so I got myself a free cup of coffee later that day.
I got freshly-filtered air in my car, and I wound up with free coffee also.
Win-win!
