2001 olds intrigue v-6 . it has a miss during acceleration most noticeable at half throttle when getting on the highway. engine light will flash on/off during this miss. i have replace o2 sensors, plugs, fuel filter. ant suggestions?
That CEL (check engine light) is just a kid in class waving her hand trying to get you attention because she has the answer. You need to have the codes read. Some places will read them for FREE. Try Autozone or Advanced Auto Parts. Get the exact code (like P0123) not just their translation into English and post it back here.Don’t continue to drive with a flashing engine light. You will likely turn a small problem into a large one.
As to remedy, as J Meehan noted above get the codes and post them.
I finally got it read… it was code P0442 they said it was a vacuum leak (small). It seems to be missing alittle more now even under lighter acceleration than before, but it idles good. any suggests
