I have a 1985 toyota sunrader 23 ft. r.v. It has a trans-awn 2000 roll out awning. I haven’t used the awning for over five years and can’t remember how to assemble the damn thing! Any help out there?
First, you loosen the knobs on the legs. Next, you release the clamps that lock the legs in place. There’s a little lever on one of the ends of the rolled-up awning that you pull to release it so you can roll it out. After that lever is moved to the “unroll” position, you pull on the strap to unroll it. The strap should be towards the middle of the roll. After it is unrolled, you extend the legs and lock them in place.
