I do not worry about viruses. I have been using Linux since December 1999. The last self-replicating virus for Linux was in the 1990’s. You can I am told manually enable them so you still have to keep your brain in the on position.

But, it is also true that thugs do not bother to try to virus Linux, because the odds are so long.

There are viruses for Linux. But since the vast majority of PC operating systems are windows base, the hackers concentrate on them. There have been enough viruses that there are anti-virus software for Linux.
