Oil pressure light flash

Have 2007 Nissan Murano. When I first start the vehicle the oil pressure light flashes then stops. I haven’t noticed the light coming on any other times. Oil level is good. Engine sounds fine.

Any thoughts on the matter.

A faulty oil pressure switch can cause that.

That is what I am hoping. I have heard many things from bearings, oil gunk bottom of oil pain, and the sensor to name a few.

Pray that it’s the oil pressure switch. An oil pressure test could be done but it’s cheaper to replace the switch as compared to the test if you have to pay someone to perform that test.
If the problem still exists after a switch change then odds are it’s worn crankshaft bearings. And an engine can run perfectly fine with abnormally low oil pressure; up to a certain point.
