Obd2 scanner for tranny?

Best obd2 scanner for transmission full diagnostics?

Any of the pro level scanners will get the job for a few thousand dollars plus a monthly subscription. But I am guessing (you didn’t say) that you don’t want to spend thousands. So… Best for what car?

Im thinking autel 906 pro ts. Its about 1700. Have tranny thats not working when hot but my regular $400 autel keeps saying “this test not supportes by this module”. Solenoids work. Need more power. And also a CAN test and ECU test.

A laptop, an OBD2 cable to USB and Forscan, a free download for PC, will get you access to trans codes. It is a Ford and Mazda specific product.

If you have a laptop the total spend will be less than $100

Yessir but Im looking to usr it for other cars as well. Hence why I want a generally good obd2 scanner for all cars. About 1700 bucks. This is just the car im stuck on atm. Any ideas?

this might be worth a look at. I have no knowledge of this one but found it recently.

No need to cough out “a few thousand” as some have suggested. I have a $700 Autel that does pretty much everything I can think of.
Also, unless you are a shop, why would you need updates every year?

Whybare you replying to me? I suggested a solution for less than $100. The OP is the one who wants a unit that covers more cars.

Yea Im the one wanting different car diagnosis capabilities. Opted for the Autel Maxisys Ultra Lite. Was on sale.
