i have a 2004 sel freestar van and when i put it in reverse it makes a loud noise esp. when i turn the wheel backing out of my driveway it has been likethat for about 2 years. also i have changed my back brakes 2 times already which i have owned 2 vans prior and never once changed the back brakes… i have on the freestar 74,000 on it any ideas why there is a noise coming from the van. at times when i drive it feels like something grabs the engine and than pulls me back and lets go like a fast acceleration, could that be transmission problem? i did ask ford once to check it out but they could not find anything and it still does it and no i am not crazy it is there…
