It is an old truck, low priority for the dealer tech. One of my coworkers will sometimes have 8 work orders on “hold” and continue to take on more work looking for easy money.
Sounds like a bad place to take your truck but these people have the most experience with Nissan trucks. There have been tales here of vehicles taken from shop to shop and out of service for months for what is an ordinary repair for a dealer tech.
