I have a 2003 Nissan Pathfinder
(72000 mi)which the dealer has diagnosed with a bad ABS controller. Price to fix – $1100 parts plus $300 labor.
Has anyone had any experience with rebuilding the module? Anyone familiar with the company ModuleMaster for rebuilding controllers?
No. A module isn’t something you can rebuild. It needs to be done by experts.
Buy the reman unit or disable the ABS system and just have normal brakes.
I had my ABS controller rebuilt by Module Masters . Great job ! Cost $200 plus shipping and took about eight or nine days for shipping and rebuild . I installed the unit and all codes cleared and they give a five year warranty . Check their web site . They have a good instruction section on how to remove the unit !
