Nissan a/c problem--is it urgent?

My new 2014 Nissan Versa (6600 miles) a/c conked out when I got to Myrtle Beach SC from Columbus Oh. Should I wait to take it back home to Columbus or could it be a sign of something serious?

It’s probably not anything that would disable the car, but it’s under warranty and there’s no moral or legal reason not to take it to the nearest dealership and have it fixed. Go ahead and bring it in to a Myrtle Beach dealership unless you’re leaving soon and it would inconvenience you.
