Hey guys.
I need to get new tires for my 2000 Toyota Camry, and I have narrowed it down to four:
Bridgestone Turanza Serenity
Yokohama AVID ENVIGOR
Michelin Primacy MXV4
BFGoodrich Advantage TA
Toyo Versado LX
Which is the best of those five?
Any thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks.
Meant to say five, not four.
Visit www.tirerack.com and www.1010tires.com. Both sites have excellent consumer ratings sections. You’ll get much more information at these sites than you’ll get on a forum.
I tried Tirerack. They showed the first four, but not the Toyo. They say the Yokohama is the best of the crop overall.
I’ll try the 10 10 site. Thanks.
I don’t think TR stocks Toyos, which is why they don’t show them
I believe Toyo tires to very good, close to level Michelin. If the Toyo’s are significantly less than Michelin I’d consider them strongly.
That’s what I’ve heard too. Plus TFT matches online prices, so that’ll help.
TFT is a huge Toyo pusher. Online prices are not always cheaper.
I was recently quotes less per tire at Sullivan tire than tire rack pricing. Basically check around.
The one I went to a couple months ago to check the tires didn’t even mention Toyo, so we’ll see.
I plan to check around, though.
