It’s time to sell your Mustang GT and buy a 2018. Ford says that using the new 10-speed automatic and drag strip mode, the car goes from 0 to 60 in less than 4 seconds. Ford does sell Shelby Mustangs that best that mark, but they are a lot more expensive than the Mustang GT. this time is slightly better than the Camaro SS that clocks 4-flat 0-60. Also interesting is that the 2018 Mustangs with the 2.3 Ecoboost will do 0-60 in under 5 seconds. Who’s in?
I’ll wait until 2021 when the first cars come off lease and I can buy one for small money. My 2013 will be ready to be replaced by then.
Or buy a 2015 or 2016 eco-boost, increase the turbo size, plumbing, radiator and intercooler and turn the boost knobs up until I make enough power to walk a 2018 at the dragstrip.
