My 89 Mustang GT turns off after I drive it for a while, does not happen every time but when it does all I have to do is wait 30 min. and I can start it again. What can be causing this? O yes I’ve replaced spark plug wires, coil, distributor and module.
Fuel pump or its relay?
The fuel pump on my 91 Taurus would quit after driving for 45 - 60 minutes. After it sat for a while the car started and ran normally.

My '93 Tempo would do the same thing. It was the fuel pump.
