I have several mildew spots on the fabric of our car seats from a liquid spill that we were unaware of. I saw the discussion on chlorine dioxide but that sounds a little drastic for my purposes. I’m looking for more of a surface cleaner that will get rid of mildew on fabric.
I use regular upholster cleaner on the fabric seats in my car. Works great.
I agree, just use no water: spray on the upholstery cleaner and brush it in and let it dry, then vacuum.
Last resort is a professional treatment using dry ice.
