Mice inside my car

Hi,

I have a 1999 Toyota Sienna and I live in the forest in Foxboro, Ma. I have had mice get inside my heater, alternator, eat my ignition wires, my air conditioner costing me mucho dollars. Any Suggestions

Cat?

Do you have a garage? Is the car in the garage? Do you have domestic animals that might get in the garage?

Consider mouse traps or poison. Just be careful with the poison bate.

Someone else asked this same question. And here’s what I suggested. http://community.cartalk.com/posts/list/2146530.page

I’d Sprinkle Shredded Cheese And Some Dry Cereal And Cookie Crumbs In, On, And Around A Junk Car For Several Days. If These Little Guys Have Any Brains At All, They’ll Pack Up And Move.

It sounds like you don’t have any neighbors’ cars close by so you’ll need to buy a non-running clunker if you don’t have one sitting around. Make trails of goodies from your Sienna to the new location until residency is established. Throw a treat in the clunker once in a while.
