I’ll Try and make a long story short. Had Dealer replace switch for power lumbar seat in 02 Cadillac Deville. They replaced switch and said it’s the motor. I have a hard time believing a motor that never sees bad weather and runs about 1 hour a year is bad. I would like to get to the motor to check it out. If It’s bad I might be able to repair it or have it repaired. A new one is $400. Anybody have any experience on taking the seat apart to get to the lumbar motor?? I’ll have to contend with the motor, the heated seat stuff and an air bag. The guy at the dealership said he tested the motor. I figure if he can get to the motor, why cant I. Any help would be great.
