Got a 95 silverado thats got a stuck seat motor. Can these be repaired?

Yes. Remove the seat, turn it over, and have at it. You will find the problem usually lies in the cable driven gear-boxes. With a 12 volt supply of some kind and some jumper wires, you can power up the seat when it’s out of the vehicle and quickly figure out what’s bent, busted, or bound up…

These got replaced by the dozens because they “rocked”. Never tried to fix a inop example, can’t picture the cables,gears yes. Any chance something is in the track or a bolt head is in the way?
