Lug nut profile is important

I sheared off 2 studs removing lug nuts. They have shoulder that holds on hubcap. Found a set of 20 for $5 but they are not close enough. AZ does have right nut for $4. I thought 20 for $5 was good deal.

He needs a specific type of lug nut that has a shoulder to retain wheel covers. He found new lug nuts in Arizona (AZ).

Thanks for the tip. When I need lug nuts, I pick them up off the ground at the auto salvage yard, they charge 25 cents each. Probably not an option for you if the ground is wet 365 days/year.

I think AZ means AutoZone - a retailer with locations all over the USA.

Have you communicated your concerns to the DMV, USPS, UPS, IRS, EPA, CDC, NASA, DHS, ICE, and DOD?

I think most of us know those agencies.

But referring to Auto Zone as “AZ” is bound to cause confusion, and in my estimation laziness - in general.

We have O’Reilly Auto Parts and AutoZone stores in the Southwest; CA, NV, AZ, NM.

A long drive from MN. Am I using the correct abbreviations?

O’Reilly’s is content to continue using poorly written somewhat ignorant programming to find parts, track sales of parts and sales to individuals. I continue to use my long defunct shop phone number to register sales in order to eliminate confusion there. Auto Zone is light years ahead of all their competition in their lookup and record functions in my opinion.

I was referring to their commercial department, the Slow was for their delivery time… lol

Most all the commercial departments of any of the parts houses that I delt with, have always had the better counter people, they actually know their stuff, around here anyway…

I HATE dealing with non commercial counter people, I just find it online and go pick it up…

Junkyard had 10+ cars and most had alloy wheels. I need steel wheel cars and found 1 candidate. I did find a set of very nice alloys/tires but I passed. I’d never sell my steel wheels.
