I have a Ford Taurus with a Duratec engine. The hose beneath the water pump connects into a steel tube that has a few funky bends in it. It is rusted and I can’t find a decent one at a junk yard. If I make one out of copper and tin lead solder, Will that material be compatable with the cooling system? I don’t want to cause some kind of electrolosys and corrode the rest of the system.
Perhaps, you could replace the pipe with a section of rubber hose.
