The low fuel light is always on. My local mechanic has changed the sending unit out twice, with no benefit. After a few thousand miles, the brake light came on. Occasionally, the ABS light comes on. My mechanic tried swapping out the battery and the wiring harness, but no joy. I took it to the dealer and they said that I could pay them to change out the sending unit again, and that the ABS system wasn’t working. But, it is, so I decided not to have them do anything.
Any ideas?
This advice may not help you but, check to see if the alternator is putting AC voltage out by checking for AC voltage across the battery while the engine is running. If there is more than .1 volt then the alternator needs to be replaced.
If you’re getting an AC current from anything in your vehicle except the Air Conditioner, it’s definitely BAD.
