For the last year and a half, my headlights have cut out at random. Usually on the freeway in the dark of night. Really scary. I quickly learned that my high beams were operative, so I would use those in a pinch. I have had the car diagnosed three times and no one see’s anything. Now, this week, the low beams are out completely. High beams and parking lights still work. HELP! The last thing I want to do is take it to the dealership to tell me I need a new computer board.
Upon calling the Chevy, that was what they wanted me to do. Anybody know anything?
Thanks soooo much. Oh and its a 2002 Trailblazer.
The computer has nothing to do with this trouble. The most likely source of the trouble is the light switch. Before replacing it though it should be checked first and proven to be the real trouble.
