My '96 Accord lost RPMs while running today. Engine did not shut off, but RPMs dropped to zero, car slowed to halt. No gas to engine when pushing accelerator. After gliding to the curb, I turned off ignition, then turned it back on. The car started, drove about 5 blocks, then the same thing happened. When I restarted it again, I revved the engine twice. Drove it to the dealer. They ran diagnostics, but found nothing wrong, and they drove it ten miles without replication of incident. Now they say I can come and get it, but I’m afraid it will happen again. Any ideas? Thanks!
