I have a 2000 Astro Van the lights in the dash are out, the gas guage is not moving

Sounds like a fuse to me.

The lights in the dashboard are out. The gas gauge is not registering, and the tank is full.

Check for a bad ground connection

Have you checked the dimmer control position for the dash lights to make sure it is up all the way? The gas gauge is a seperate issue. There may be a wiring problem to the sensor in the tank.

How about the radio display, can you change its intensity with the dimmer switch? If the radio goes dim to bright and the cluster does not you have isolated to cluster at least.
