Have a RX300 with a bad driver door lock. Door only locks from inside if you push lock manually. Dealer said I need a door lock actuator. $500 seems kind of high to me. Has anyone had this problem?

If you want to try and fix this yourself you should be able to if you are fairly handy. You could also go to an independent shop and have them fix it for a lot less I would think. This shouldn’t take more than an hour to fix.
