LED bulb replacement for 2007 Chevy HHR

The HHR is a fairly “modern” car with a mix of low-current LEDs (interior lighting)as well as the standard incandescent light bulbs for the tail/signal lights. If I were to replace the incandescent bulbs (3157; 912; 194) with their equivalent LED fixtures, would I need to purchase a new flasher or LED load resistor kit? Or is this car already equipped to deal with LEDs? Is there a way to determine if the factory flasher can handle LED bulbs (and not produce that ‘hyperflashing’ symptom)?

Thanks!

LED’s require very little current and a normal flasher will probably not work at all. You will need to use a special flasher or provide more “load” in the circuit so the flashers will work…A lot of work for little gain…
