Car makers take a lot of heat, most of it justified. I just wanted to thank one for a change.
I bought a new Ford at the end of May which came with the Ford Protection Plan. I was aware of the plan when I bought the car although I would have bought it anyway, and the salesman never even mentioned it during the sale. I never gave it a thought as my job appeared stable.
The car payment wasn’t a huge worry, but how great is not having to pay it? I always assumed the payments would be deferred, but that’s not the case. They sent payments to my finance source retroactive to the date of my job loss. No paying it back or anything. Just filled out a simple form, sent it in and the payments were made.
Anyway, thanks Ford for making my life just a bit easier!
