I have followed the given instructions to re-program a keyless entry remote (to the letter) but it was not successful. I just put a new battery in the remote. It is the correct remote (it worked before). Any suggestions?
Make certain the battery is installed right side up. And memorize the sequence of things you have to do to program it, because I have found that if I try to read the instructions as I go along I tend to take too long and the project fails.
Thanks for trying, but it didnt help. Maybe the remote has gone bad. I suppose I can buy one on the internet and try this again. I am sure I would still be ahead of taking it to the dealership.
