Hi guys, so i just bought my first car today, and in the excitement, forgot to check for an inspection sticker. I bought it from a dealer, so i currently have temporary plates. Am i still able to get the inspection done any time soon? Or do i have to wait until the paper work comes in the mail?
What state? Some require a vehicle to have a valid sticker before it’s sold. It seems to me the dealer should take care of this…UNLESS it won’t pass and they know this.
If the emissions test is free in your state get one done, in our state I believe it is illegal for a dealer to sell a car that will not pass emissions test, or at least you should get your money back if it fails.

You’re asking the wrong people. You need to ask your state’s Department of Motor Vehicles.
