For years the 98 Chevy 1500 pickup (a wonderful truck) occasionally jerks slightly to the right when I’m making gradual, large radius, “cloverleaf” turns to the right. Needless to say it is disconcerting. I’ve taken it to a garage several times and they fix it but it always comes back. Any clue what might cause this…Thanks in Advance for your help…Jay
This could be a faulty steering rack.
What are they saying they ‘fix’? What do they do?
Ok…here comes the stupid part…over the years I’ve never really pinned down with them what the problem was. They’d fix, it would last about year then several months later I’d take it back in and same routine and we never really reached a final conclusion. Is there a place to lube the steering rack?
