I use the key fob and all doors lock and unlock except the rear driver’s side door. Sometimes the door will unlock but not lock. What should I look out for when fixing it myself?
Update: sometimes it locks and unlocks. I just keep clicking the key fob and sometimes works
The lock actuator is weak, replace the door latch assembly.

Suggest to also apply a little lube to the pertinent linkages as part of replacing the latch ass’y job.
Often the most difficult problem for the diy’er is removing/replacing the interior door panel without damaging something. Search Google, maybe somebody has posted a utube vdo on how to do this for your Jeep. Method & diy’er challenges vary car to car. In some cases special purpose tools are needed.
