1995 Jeep GC Limited All Wheeler. 280 k miles. In tight low speed turn sounds like a machine gun going off in front end. Car lurches with each bang. Rebushed, replaced front axles twice, struts once. Sway bars, steering, springs look ok. Suspect transfer case. Has done this for 260 k miles, but getting worse. Now, if I goose it at a green light it bangs 3 or 4 times during hard acceleration. I am scaring small children in paring lots & am concerned it may not make it another 300 k.
