Jaguar must have a death wish

They are effectively re-branding themselves, are eliminating the classic leaping Jaguar emblem, and are apparently headed for all-EV territory. In the meantime, they won’t offer any vehicles for sale in The UK for more than one year, until their new super-luxury line-up is ready. Somehow, I can’t imagine that marque surviving for very long.

I’m not even sure what type of cars jag sells. Do they sell a sedan?

They currently sell 3 SUVs, two variants of their sports car, and one sedan.

Some US dealers took a buyout to only sell Land Rover/Range Rover from what i’ve been told. Nearest dealer is now authorized service for Jaguar but kept the Land Rover franchise. Leaping Jaguar is still there on the concept but not as prominent. We’ll have to see the actual product to judge.

Jaguar is part of Jaguar Land Rover, a subsidiary of Tata Motors. I’m sure they have enough backing to stick around.

From their advertising they have gone stark raving mad, so we’ll see what kind of car breaks all the boundaries, focuses on 2% of the population for their market, and still survives.

Im not crying over this.

The latest commercials don’t contain any cars, just weirdly dressed persons.

They learned nothing from the Bud Light fiasco?
