Is this “decarb” service necessary?

I drive a 2006 Dodge Durango with a 5.7L Hemi engine. As I only use it for my fishing trips between Arizona and Montana, it only has 31,000 miles 95% of which are highway miles. During a service visit, my Dodge dealer suggested that I buy a “3 Part Decarb” mentioning injectors and throttle body something for $289. Do I need this service? And, would some kind of fuel additive avoid the need for this?

If your car is running OK, you don’t need this. The gas you buy already has additives to keep your fuel system clean.
