Intermittent Car Stereo

I have a Ford Mondeo (UK) and recently the car stereo started turning itself off at random intervals. I cant work out why? I could be stationery in my car with the engine running and it will turn off intermittently, I could be stationery without the engine running and it will turn off intermittently, I could be driving on a motorway or on a local road (at speed or slow) and it will turn off intermittently, I could be indicating , have my wipers one heated windows, bluetooth or none of them running and it will turn off intermittently?? Completely at a loss as there is no common denominator. My first thought was the radio was worn out (7 years old) so I replaced it only for my new head unit to do the same thing. Obviously I have an electrical fault but I cant find it???

Any advice would be appreciated.
