the instrument panel is not illuminated in daylight making it impossible to see speedometer, gas gauge, and other intstruments on 2008 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500. It is just fine when it cloudy and at night.
Is this car “new to you”?
When cloudy you can see your instruments okay with your headlight off?
My 2006 tends to washout in bright sunshine. I first notice it after removing old worn window tint.
I had the same problem with my 07 GT. Very hard to see the instruments in certain lights. I always wondered if a kit to change the guage faces to while with black tic marks and lettering would improve it. The kits used to exist, but I did not try it.
