Key goes in, electronics turn on ( annoying ‘door open’ beep goes off ), but the key will not turn.
Do I call a locksmith or the dealership?
If the ignition switch turns to the “ON” position (all the dashboard lights come on, radio works, etc), then the key is fine and you do not need a locksmith. What you might need is a new ignition cylinder, in which case you should call the dealer.
