I bet he wishes that he had a key… to his own truck.

Possible he/she only had a proximity key and or the lock cylinder was broken and he had a tonneau cover… ![]()
The golf clubs or costco haul must have been in the bed. I’ve seen a chevy prizn haul more than this truck, minimum 800lbs of cat litter bags and supplis for the vet clinic up the road. Before the stores had delivery trucks.
Earlier today, I saw a Honda Odyssey minivan driving on the other side of the highway, with what appeared to be something very tall on the roof. As I got closer, I realized it was a mattress strapped to the roof, catching the wind at at least a 45 degree angle. Wow.
… and if you had been able to follow it for several miles, there is a strong likelihood that you would have seen it blown off that roof. I can’t be the only forum member who sees mattresses on the shoulder of the interstate, especially during the warmer months.
Washington state has seen worse. Ladders in the freeway more recently. Severak callers alerted the WSP to this ihaul in Okanagan county back in 2022. Van and cargo impounded due to suspended license plus overdue rental aling with the Isuzu hanging out the back
I wonder how he got out if he drove it in.
I’ve seen lots of stuff on the road. As a freshman we did an all night drive and hit a rocking chair about four in the morning. Nobody in it.
Yes, I have also seen a ladder on the roadway. Luckily, only once.
The only dropped load that I ever hit was the previously-mentioned rebar that I couldn’t avoid because of traffic in the adjoining lane. I hit the brake, and thought that I had escaped unscathed, only to find out several miles later that the trans pan had been punctured.
One thing I will never forget is the panic that raced through me when I was in my 20s on my motorcycle, coming down and around an expressway ramp at 60mph only to see a truck off to the side. A guy was in the road frantically trying to pull the pipes that had spilled onto the roadway. He looked up in a panic to see me headed directly for this pile of pick up sticks strewn about. Instinctively, I stood up on the pegs and picked my route over them. Luckily they weren’t much bigger than 2" diameter but many at angles where you could easily go down hitting them at a sharp angle. I rode over at least a dozen of them.
A guy at work was following one of those welding trucks when a huge vise fell off the back. He hit it and it tore open his oil pan and did a bunch of other damage. Lucky he didn’t crash or get hit by someone from behind…
Can’t believe driver talked his wife into holding board.
Granny fell out
He’s afraid he’ll scratch the bed instead of the side? What is Logic to some is most confusing to the rest of us.
What we have hea, is a failure to communicate
