i have 92 ford probe repair after repair now i have again another problem i went outside to start my car and warm it up because i live in the frozen tundra (WI.)
once it was warm i got in and pressed the brake and tryed to put in rev. or any gear for that matter and it will not move out of park so my ? is where is the safety switch located and is there a way to bypass it ? please help
Do you have an owner manual? Do the brake lamps work? The usual procedure for bypassing the switch is to set the parking brake, start the car in neutral and then you can move to what gear you want.
