Maybe that shirt is the solution to people knowing you work on cars and wanting you to fix theirs… for cheap!

Are you saying that’s tester?

Great photo, Mike! :+1:

I think it’s Mike

Mike looks 90% to my uncle, my father’s brother.

I almost thought my uncle’s photo got leaked lol.

I think many of us regulars need to get one of those t-shirts for ourselves

Funny. Although I have a very close relative who could be his twin.

And I couldn’t spell mechanic without spellchecker.

Good to see someone confident enough to admit that he could not spell mechanic.

As a deaf person, I also struggle to spell advanced words, and if you pay close attention to my typing style, you’ll notice I stick to basic words.

But I have an explanation for this.

Since I’m deaf, my brain didn’t fully receive words pronunciation and I often mispronounce words as a result — close friends and relatives mock and make fun of me for this on a daily basis.

I still don’t know how to vocally pronounce **specifically ** correctly, though I can spell it.

Some of the guys on here use advanced words in their paragraph and I understand them 100% correctly. However, I wouldn’t be able to use those words in my vocabulary as I have no idea how to pronounce them, let alone spell them.

I’m fluent in ASL ( American Sign Language ). I wasn’t born deaf but I wasn’t exposed to English growing up as a kid until I migrated to the United States.

@Clueless33 I have sympathy for anyone with health or physical problems but I think you have posted about yours enough .

Me thinks Mike was joking.

I guess it is my Left (?) brain thinking, but my mind does not work like most others and because of it I can’t spell for crap and I can mispronounce even simple words… I am a hands on learner, but keep me put of a class room looking at a book… lol

It takes me a long time to make a post due to spell check and even going around my elbow to get to my thumb to find a word that I can get close enough so that google can figure out cause spell check ain’t got a clue… Sometimes I even go to my phone and use talk to text, but then it doesn’t know what I am saying…

We all have our strong points in life and the English langue is not one of mine, and it is the only one I know… I am blown away at my nieces Husband who speaks 5 langue’s fluently… I can’t even do one correctly, I feel like a caveman around him… My happy place is metal… lol

Where as, I prefer 60s Motown.

Haha, well I meant the material metal (working with my hands, fabricating and turning wrenches), but the metal music works also, both are good together for me also…

I was being facetious.
