Or use a bit of lacquer thinner on a rag…it will come right off. Don’t worry, it won’t damage the paint since the composition of modern paint is not lacquer based.

The thing about wood glue is that it sticks well to wood but not to metal. I’ve never tried dissolving it with chemicals but if that doesn’t work, I’d take it to a detailer unless you want to try it yourself. Using liquid detailer, clay bar, and a razor would be the approach to remove it, and then…
