How can I keep my new black convertible top “shiny clean”? I wash it with a recommended cleaner/protectant, but it does not have that dark black, wet look after drying. Can anyone provide a suggestion or product to use? Thanks and Happy Holidays!
I guess I am a slob, I never worried about mine being dark and looking wet.
I can only suggest using the products recommended by the top manufacturer. Others can cause more problems, like an un-even look.
Everybody I know who owns a convertible be it fairly new or a classic vehicle uses Lemon Pledge on their tops. The foaming action lifts the dirt from the top, and lemon oil in the Pledge prevents the top from drying out and leaves the top looking shinny and new.
